The Twisted Spine and the Brooklyn Horror Society are thrilled to announce the new film series, Dark Sparks: Films That Ignite Horror Authors. At each screening, an author will appear in person to introduce a film of their choosing and for a reading of their own work. We'll have signed copies of their books for sale, alongside some classic and contemporary books that provided terrifying inspiration.

Adam Cesare is a New Yorker who lives in Philadelphia. He is the author of the Bram Stoker Award-winning CLOWN IN A CORNFIELD series, the graphic novel DEAD MALL, and several other novels and novellas including the cult hit VIDEO NIGHT.
BASKET CASE (1982): A young man carrying a big basket that contains his extremely deformed, formerly conjoined twin brother seeks vengeance on the doctors who separated them against their will.
Doors open at 7 PM, event is 8 PM. This will fill up fast, so arrive early!
